Private protection for a film-production guest in Zurich. A practical planning overview · read the full guide below

Use the current call sheet

Obtain the relevant call time, location and production contact from the authorised coordinator. Share only the portion needed for the guest’s assignment. Production schedules can change quickly, so identify the person who will issue updates and ask the provider to acknowledge a revised location or start time. The production may distribute detailed documents to a large crew; the client should identify which extracts can appropriately be shared with the private provider.

Confirm set access

The production organisation controls admission to filming locations and working areas. Ask whether the accompanying professional is approved for the required spaces. A bodyguard booking does not include set accreditation, production safety duties or permission to enter private property used for filming. If filming moves to a new property, request fresh access confirmation from production rather than assuming approval at the original location carries over automatically.

Clarify confidentiality expectations

Ask the client to identify any applicable confidentiality process before the assignment. Do not circulate scripts, unreleased footage or personal production details unnecessarily. The service brief should describe practical duties and communication contacts, while any formal confidentiality agreement is handled through the appropriate commercial process. If a formal agreement is requested, allow time for the relevant parties to review it instead of expecting an operational staff member to approve unfamiliar terms onsite.

Define the working period

A long production day may require a staffing plan beyond a single professional’s availability. Request confirmation for the actual hours and any replacement arrangements rather than assuming continuous cover. Transport between Zurich locations should be quoted separately and updated through the same authorised production or client contact. A last-minute production extension should be approved through the client’s authorised contact, with clear confirmation of personnel availability and any effect on separate transport.
